some people think that government should aspend as much money as possible on developing space technology....... others theing that this money shoulde be spent on solving the basic problems........

 

mencius, the great Chinese philosopher commented: "if you want defeat your enemies, strengthen your weapon first."  Some people claim that the government should pay more attentions on the developing of space technology. However, the others insist the money should be spent on the earth, close to our daily life. The way as i see it, the money should be spent as much money as possible on the exploration of the space.

First of all, people never remain suspicious of that technology has changed our life dramatically. Think about hundred years ago, even 10 years ago, we could never image our lives today. when i was nine or ten years old, i had to walk about half an hour to my father's office to remind him home, whenever he forgot the time. Today just a phone call will cope with everything.

second, the cost on developing technology did get benefits. When Benjamin Franklin made his kite flying around the lightning, who can built the relationship between the kite and the electrical instrument we have today? Most of time, we can not imagine what will happen in the future, even very near future.  maybe the investments seems to be unreasonable today, but 10 years later, it will change the whole world.

at last, modern technology needs a lot of money. Take the internet technology for example; the big company such as Intel or IBM spent billions of money on the investment. Even a single machine will cost a billion. the companies paid this money far less than they can earn, we all knew Bill Gates is the richest man in the world because of the INTEL.

 

All in all, the money we spent on the space technology is valuable, no matter how much we spent on， we will get the returns sooner or later.
