【求助】columbia 算GPA的问题

关于GPA的问题确实很头大。我也就这个问题问过他们，但是，额。。。说实话，我现在看到回答还是不知道怎么弄。。。大家也帮忙参考参考

我的问题：

On my official transcript that my Alma Mater issued, I have scores for each course I took in the scale of 100, and also have the overall GPA and GPA for the last 2 years in the scale of 4 - calculated and converted by the school in accordance with the school's policy. However, as I know, the conversion method of my school is not the same with the conversion method listed on your website.

 

My question is, when I fill in the data form, shall I fill in the official GPA my Alma Mater converted and issued, or shall I re-convert the score according to Columbia 's method?

We do ask that you convert your grades into the US GPA scale. A conversion chart is provided in the instructions of the application as well as on our website at http://www.gsb.columbia.edu/mba/learnmore/applynow/start/instructions#GPA.  However, we are aware that this chart is not appropriate for converting all grading systems. We do not provide a specific system for converting English grades so I can not give you specific guidance.  I can give you the US system which may help you figure out a proper way to convert your grades. The US system is as such: 

4.0 = A (94-100%) 
3.6 = A - (90-93% 
3.3 = B + (87-89%) 
3.0= B (84-86%) 
2.6 = B- (80-83) 
2.3 = C+ (77-79) 
(continues in the same pattern) 

If your percentage scale is very different than the US system (a score below 60% is an F) you should not use the percentages to convert your grades. However, you may be able to convert using the letter grades.  If you feel that our conversion guide does not accurately represent your grades, please note that you do not need to use this guide.  You should explain however you decide to convert your grades in the Optional Essay.
