Dear Friends: On May 12, 2008, 1430, an earthquake measuring 7.8 Richter ruined Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province in Southwest China. More than 100,000 square kilometres are covered in the centre of the earthquake, so far, more than 22,000 people have died and the total death toll continues to count and the total number is estimated at more than 50, 000. Words cannot describe how sadly we felt as for the lost lives and ruined families. Medicine, tents, food, water, clothes, bandages… are badly need. At the same time, thousands of pioneers are helping the ruined and the rescued. We felt extremely sad for the death, however, it is more important if we can help the survived to build up the family or help them to recover from the mental sadness and physical injury. In this stage, "Do something for them” become the first priority among every one of us. We hope that you can propose to any of charity groups, companies or organizations within your contact to give their helping hands by donating to red cross that is closest to them.
