In the middle of February, I received an email from Auburn which I sent my GMAT score but I had not applied for. I was suggesed to apply for the MBA program at AU. But I prefer Mac program to MBA program. I checked the admission requirements of international candidates on the website. Then I filled out the e-applicaiton and received an email that asked me to send the application fee ($50) and other materials. The dead line in March 1. I sent the application fees and other materials immediately. Just after they received the payment, I was told that becase I studied accounting in China not in US, I am not eligible for the MAC program. I am upset and angry. I asked to get my application fee back because they did not provide enough information on the website. The answer is no. The reason is I did not check with the director of the MAC program before I applied and they accepted my suggestion to include the requirements of the international admissions on the website.
I am here to remind XDJM to check with the direcitor of the program you are going to applying for before you apply. Save money and time and energy. This is my suggestion. |
