One of my friend just graduated from UBC (MBA). Chinese students are having a difficult time finding jobs. For those who got jobs, the pay is low (less than 40,000 CAD per year).

ps: UBC is well respected in Vancouver, but the reputation is pretty local.

UBC要求本科成绩85分以上的, 对中国学生挺难的.

Couple of guys graduated from IVEY (MBA) this year, have not found a job yet. Some IVEY grads took Gov jobs, though the pay is low, the entrie packedg is not that bad.
(e.g. 6 week break).

Bottom line: It's a case by case situation. It's difficuty to almost everyone who doesn't have any local work experiences, but wants to seek a well-paid job by pursuing a MBA.

我本来也要申请ubc的,因为听说校园很漂亮,但等我拿着推荐信表格给老板时.老板从一堆信中,抽出ubc的,还给我说,我不写这封,因为不明白你为什么要出钱去读一所,令你可能赚得比现在更少的学校.总之,ubc出来的薪水听说出奇的低,我就放弃了,还好还没写essay.
