and 是平行结构，好像选B，但答案却是D，不知道是什么原因？

对这种比较结构的用法不清楚，劳烦牛人给讲解一下吧

   water作水域讲，可是没有用复数，为什么C里面的make up不用单数形式呢？

没想到现在的托福语法已经这么难了。确实是平行对称结构，但是，不能简单的看成都是过去分词的对称，还要从逻辑主语的角度去考虑。也就是说，对称结构中，分词结构的对称，可以是现在分词和过去分词的混合对称。这个应该是GMAT语法的考点。

所以这里，last的逻辑主语跟动作的关系是主动状态，所以用现在分词形式，选D。

这个问题要我选的话，估计选A，觉得尽管有比较的含义，但不用通过比较连接词来表述，用所有格的形式就可以。

比如fish,  记得语法上面说fish 如果表示多种鱼可以用fishes, T中好像不用, fish后面直接跟复数动词.

by the way, 水域应该是waters, 不知道T故意的, 还是这边搞错了.
