I have a friend with IT consulting background immigrating to Quebec and interested in Mcgill. Would appreciate it if you can give some advises.

yes, i am in montreal now.

gmat 720/5.5, toefl 263/6.0.  9years working experience in a electronic components factory in the south of china.

as far as i know, mcgill requires your verbal part is at least 35, and 38-40 will be preferred. and you should stand its long-time process.  sometimes mba faculty would have an interview with you. i was interviewed this tuesday. and the interviewers are very nice.

我的确是移民, 这里的学费大概是美国的十分之一. 再说我也不是什么牛人, 年龄也不小了. 所以我就只申请了这一所. 但是如果条件可以, 我觉得还是美国的学校好.

I'm an immigrant too. but the tuition of mba here is far above 10% of that in US, while the average tuition level in first class business school here is about $30000.

In my memory, tuition of rotman is $60000, york's is above $30000, at the same level as ubc's,sfu's, don't know how about other schools. Certainly, if there is a scholarship offered, things r changed.
