应该是看具体的要定指谁了，文中根据上文可以判断出需要定指pollution，而且感觉A of B结构很少有只在B上面加the的，再讨论！

And I think PARALLELISM is extremely important in OG just as explained in the above.

另外water和air前面加定冠词is unwarranted，加了表示说特指的water和air，OG有过专门说明；
而pollution前面加则比较有道理，因为后面的of结构suggests some specific pollution related water or air...

同意，pollution对应前面的incineration，所以加the，但是如果把water加上就不那么有说服了。
