D选项，我理解了OG的解释是关于比较重点变化的问题。想问的是D中“but only four million in population”这句话用逗号隔开放在这里对吗？是做一个modifier吗？还是说这里不可以逗号隔开的？

OR
comparable to the size of Great Britain, but ... (another sentence)    --- in this case, the sentence is fragment.

And choice e avoids the problem.
