谢谢鼓励。俺也很希望今年能在中欧见到你。 我现在正在写essay, 第一篇就卡在career goal上面了。我大学专业学金融，毕业后在交行工作了两年半，然后跳到朗讯的supply chain network做了两年demand plan。我现在想不清楚我将来是回到银行去，还是继续在supply chain里面混呢？如果我选回银行，不知道前面四轮收了多少和我一样goal的牛人了。

这是一位朋友在论坛上问的问题，我也知道有这回事情，但是不清楚具体的要求和在哪里可以看到？

这个问题你还是要问你自己，将来具体要做什么，不管是继续在供应链里混，还是回到银行，只要给出令人信服的理由和规划，都可以打动录取人员。我的建议是选择继续在供应链里混，而且要混出点成就来，因为

1。近年来国内供应链领域比较热，将来机会很多，可以给你更大的空间规划你的职业目标，也更能说服录取人员你将来可以实现你的目标。

2。每一次换工作都可能成为你申请的陷阱，尤其像你这样的跨行业跨职能的换法，你真的需要认真考虑一下如何回答“为什么要从银行跳到供应链”这个问题。既然跳出来都要小心应对，你再跳回去，恐怕很难make it logical吧。

个人看法，一家之言，仅供参考。

The essay writing is something analogous to story telling. Therefore what you have to do is tell a story about yourself.

You might find that some plots of your story have something in common with those of other applicants. That doesn’t matter, since everyone has something in common with someone else, regardless of lifestyle, perception, thoughts, even privacy. But one thing you should be careful of: telling the truth of your own story.

However, you are advised to take as many efforts as you can to differentiate yourself from other applicants in light of “story telling” not only rhetorically but also essentially.

Try to figure out those sparking merits characterized by your unique experience, the merits that even yourself have sometime possibly dismissed and forgotten. You can achieve to do so only in the tranquilized nights without interference from the without simply by retrospecting those old stories touching your soul deeply.   

You want your interviewers to be moved by your story? Ok, make yourself moved first.
