Villanova MSF / BC MSF / Duke MMS 等选校

各位小伙伴们, 我今天收到了Villanova MSF的无面直录, 还是有点小激动的 (2月18号交的申请. 效率还是挺高). 我同时还申请了Boston College MSF和Duke 的 MMS, 大家觉得这些项目相比,哪个比较好啊? BC和DUKE名气都很大, 但Villanova就业确实很好. 都给点意见呗! 我毕业后肯定是留美工作的, 最大可能回到纽约 (我现在住在纽约,话说如果我去Villanova的话估计得每天费城-NYC来回跑了 LOL). 我明年应该能拿到绿卡所以不需要H-1B Sponsorship. 有没有这些学校的校友能私信帮助回答一些问题, 感激不尽啊! 背景在签名里面 欢迎私信交流!

哈哈也是,Duke不好说不过我觉得BC应该没问题,就想看看大家的意见,anyway多谢啦!

。。。。。 nyc to philly everyday is not possible dude.... you are gonna hate it after one month. and do you know that Nova is not in the city.. you need to make so many transfers..
Duke is very different from the other two programs.
Nova vs BC: both are good in term of reputation. but i favor BC because nova is mostly white population and is in rural area (if you are not white washed, you are not gonna enjoy the culture).  BC has better social life imo.

Thanks for the input! I know Nova is in the rural area and I will be driving instead of taking bus/trains. I know it's a 2 hour one way commute but I think it's better than renting another apartment near Nova (My wife works in NYC). It's better to go home right . Also I think there are only 3 or 4 days that have classes ..Anyway I will keep you opinion in mind. Thanks! Do you know in term of career placement, which has better reputation if I want to break into corporate finance / consulting?

i have limited knowledge on this. BC has edge on overall reputation although Nova has pretty good MSF. i think BC would be better choice. but if you are going BC, it would be insane if you are gonna drive from nyc to boston.......
btw, since you live in nyc for a year, you should know that it will take more than 2 hours in the morning, especially if you live in queens or brooklyn. passing through Manhattan is not easy during rush hour.

That's so true....I know it can be a nightmare haha! Alright I will seriously consider rent a studio or something and only travel for weekend.

去nova的话可以考虑一下你们两口子搬到NJ。。？为什么没申纽约的学校啊
