Hi there. Happy to help you out here. First off, congratulations on getting that admit! I know you're still waiting on some other schools, but your first admit is a BIG deal, and I hope you're celebrating As for your question, the school is basically asking you to put down a deposit saying that you'll go there. If you decide not to go, that's OK. You can just tell them that later. But you will not get your money back. So I'd recommend putting down the $250. That way, if you DO ultimately decide to go there, you've saved your spot and you have nothing to worry about. And if you get in somewhere else and you'd rather go to that school, well, you lost $250. But it's such a small amount of money, and it's definitely worth it for the peace of mind.
