Construction of the Roman Colosseum, which was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began in A.D. 69. during the reign of Vespasian, was completed a decade later, during the reign of Titus, who opened the Colosseum with a one-hundred-day cycle of religious pageants, gladiatorial games, and spectacles.

(A) which was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian,
(B) officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, begun in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, and
(C) which was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, and
(D) officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater and begun in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian it
(E) officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, which was begun in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, and

其中关于D og答案是这样解释的 There is no need to use the pronoun it as the subject of was completed, because Roman Colosseum (modified by phrases describing its name and the time it was begun) already serves as the subject of the final verb
但是我觉得这个known和begun是不能并列的,一个应该是修饰的 Roman Colosseum(known),另一个应该是修饰的Construction(begun,只有一个建筑的过程才能开始吧)
求指教

我的理解是这样的

Construction of the Roman Colosseum, which (使用的是非限定成分说明这个不是主句必要成分) was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began (主句谓语不能随便改变它的句中地位) in A.D. 69. during the reign of Vespasian, was (另一个主要谓语,所以应该和began平行) completed a decade later, during the reign of Titus, who opened the Colosseum with a one-hundred-day cycle of religious pageants, gladiatorial games, and spectacles.

(A) which was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, 这里缺一个and
(B) officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater 我觉得有歧义,是construction known as还是Roman Colosseum known as? , begun 过去时是began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, and
(C) which was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, and 正确
(D) officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater 歧义 and begun 改变句子成分,把主句谓语和非限定成分并列错误,而且应该是began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian it 还没有谓语
(E) officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater 歧义, which 这里把which也改变地位,从修饰主句到修饰同位语,错误 was begun 应该是began in A.D. 69, during the reign of Vespasian, and 没有谓语
