Duke Admission

和楼主的情况一模一样, 拿到Duke的offer, 但被Wharton拒了(心情和楼主一样, 喜忧掺半), 加上被Tuck waitlist, 我申请的4所已经一半有定音了. 祝CD上的XDJM们都有好的结果.

我的情况: GMAT 730/6.0, TOEFL 273/5.5, 6 years W/E upon matriculation．感觉是ESSAY和INTERVIEW重要．

As far as I understand, you were waitlisted in round1 and now admitted in round 2. Is that correct? if so, what have you done proactively to promote yourself to Duke? i am now waitlisted by duke in round 2. Need some of your suggestion. Thank you in advance.

I attended some Duke alumni gathering since waitlisted, and also dropped e-mails to tell my latest profession developments, for example, some fresh knowledge I got from the latest job assignments... Show you are proactive, that's the baseline.

I have submitted, what can I do now? THe reason is that I found they missed the second line of my home address, I want to update it in case the mails coming soon can't reach. Although I haven't really decided on Duke yet. But I guess, if no cash deposit, they won't reserve the place for you. Another thing is that in the letter they said $1500 deposit, but once you click the submission, it turns out another note saying $1000.00. Funny.
