答案：E

A和B的instead of后面放了不定式或者过去分词，这都是错误的使用方法。C的instead前后不对称，D的rather than前后也不对称。答案选E。要注意E的rather than前半部分是to go home，而后半部分应该是to be confined, 而这里就把这个to给省略掉了。

有几点疑惑
1、并列式从哪里开始并的？ 比如一个vi+介词型式
Vi+介词+A and 介词+B
还是VI+介词+A and B？
这两种是不是绝对的，第一种对？

2、这里把to省略了，什么时候可以省略哈？ 这样没看出省略一般看到选项就给排除了。。
