v-ing 和 定语从句相比
较为简洁
但是劣势是它无法表明时态

找到第二题的一个错误点，是helpful in 和helpful to do的区别，helpful in sth表示sth就是需要帮助的地方，就像题里demonstrating what kind of damage is the area where help is needed，helpful to do 是表示to do的动作时帮助去完成另一个目标，for instance
when demonstrating what kind of damage， it is very helpful to shoot dead chicken. 这里shoot dead chicken这个to do 的动作时帮助demonstrate the damage.根据这道题题意，应该是用helpful in 比较合适
还有一点不解，shooting在这里表示什么意思呢，是表示a cannon was shooting 的意思吗？是表示这个shooting的动作是和prove同时发生吗？

shooting是noun modifier
做定语 修饰cannon
没有时态可言！！！
