求助各位大神一道prep12的题！！怎么想也想不通呀！！！

正确答案是b咯，但是为何A不对呢？ suffer from不是固定搭配吗？？？要比because好呀？
跪求大神们解答！！！！

兄弟你自己改动了人家的原题再来问别人这可不好，你如果认为A经过你的改动是正确的可以说明，然后征求别人意见。你这样改动后一看就不是GMAT的真题风格。
当然经过你这样的改动，A选项还是错误的，这主要是因为suffer from 的搭配，当你因为食物减少而挨饿时，你只能说suffer from “挨饿”而不能说suffer from “食物减少”
词典中的解释是； If you suffer from an illness or from some other bad condition, you are badly affected by it.
                              例； He was eventually diagnosed as suffering from terminal cancer.

选项B的suffer 对应词典的解释应该是这样的； If you suffer, you are badly affected by an event or situation，所以这时它不和from 搭配，意思上也不一样。



你的题目复制单词都连到一起了，让人家看的时候很吃力，我把原题复制了过来。

嘿嘿不好意思哦第一次发帖~~十分感谢你对suffer from 的解释哈！！！另外这道题我是在CD上下载的prep2012上找到的，这位兄台的原题出自何处呀？？可否共享一下万分感激！！

因为我没有考过，所以我也没有系统看过这些资料，我只是在这个语法板块泡的久了，所以一看你这个题就有问题，于是我搜了一下原题目，

总之Gmat的题一般都对错分明，错误选项都有严重的错误，A经过改动以后导致题的难度剧增，而且失去了考察语法的意义,这种题相当，相当少如果不是没有的话。

原题中通过resulting可以直接排除A，因为宾语从句的主语creatures of the seabed 不可能是resulting动作的发出者（逻辑主语）。的确是比较容易排除的。改了之后的确难度增大了很多。
