91. In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines have been priced to sell, and they are.
(A) have been priced to sell, and they are
(B) are priced to sell, and they have
(C) are priced to sell, and they do
(D) are being priced to sell, and have
(E) had been priced to sell, and they have
关键split:helping verb;meaning;sentence structure
E. had been时态不符合逻辑(pricing to sell发生在降价之前,逻辑说不通),have后面不完整
To sell
The stores sells many books.
The books in the store sell well.
• 原句想用的是一个unstated but assumed repetition of a word:The wines have been priced to sell, and they are (selling)
• The wines have been priced to sell, and they are(sell);

我开始理解的是they do (reduce the inventor ...
If the intended antecedent of a single pronoun is clear (e.g., by virtue of parallelism and meaning), and if there is no other reasonable antecedent, then don’t worry if there is an unreasonable antecedent somewhere else in the sentence.
3. 语义上来说,说 酒实际上卖得好( their wines do sell), 比又重复说 (vintners do cut prices),要合乎逻辑一些
