偶觉得吧。。。
1.the reason that...应该是在THAT从句做the reason 的修饰成分的时候，一般可以省略。一般应该是the reason that(...)+系动词或者谓语动词。
2.the reason why 应该是一种固定用法。
3.the reason ...that要看中间的...是什么成分，that充当什么成分。大全的那道，ONE REASON后面的是类似于同位语或者是一个省略that的定语从句，描述reason的，不影响结构。忽略修饰成分和解释说明成分。THE REASON IS that...这里that是先行词就不能省略了。
the reason why 是从句中的固定用法，另外两个就是看行文规范了吧。。。
