known today by a name (that) they would not have recognized，现在只知道一个名字，并且还不一定能认得出来的名字，修饰the modern Zuni and Hopi 的祖先。

谢谢哦~~=3= 但是 俺还想问 known不是应该是 被知道吗 人不是应该是主动吗？还是有点不太明白诶

这里的意思是：现代XX人的祖先以某个名字被人们知道~

整体句子结构：known...., 主语+谓语+宾语   这里Known是个 过去分词引导状语从句    逻辑主语应该是主句主语。 所以known后面是人 ancient enemies"  所以主语应该是人  所以只有选择A  别的选项 还有代词修饰  修饰语错误的问题

我认为 这里破折号 能换成逗号 就是说 这里是插入语  修饰解释name
