The advantageof OR/SC program 1. Course. The curriculum of OR/SCcomprises three components, business core, operations research core and supplychain courses. It has a project, Coffee Connection, that build a bridge betweenstudents and alumni, leading to a better understanding of professional worldand more horizontal vision. Our alumni are throughout the UnitedStates. Students are able to connect with Weatherhead alumni through all kindsof the alumni events or via the group in LinkedIn. Cleveland is the biggest city of Ohio.It has factories, distribution centers and headquarters of many big companies,such as Philips and Nestle. In this area there are two hospital, ClevelandClinic and university hospital. Social Life. Weatherhead holds variousclubs that broaden students’ social lives. The active Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA) along with these clubs provideopportunities for professional development, local community service activities,engagement with employers and social gatherings such as cultural dinners, happyhours and wine tastings with sommeliers. Operation club, most related to ourprogram, provides many opportunities to work on different practical projectsfor companies. 课余生活。天气头里有许多的社团，大大丰富了学生的课余生活。GBSA与各式各样的社团为学生们提供了融入这个城市、与人交际的机会。例如，operationsclub是与我们这个项目相关的新社团，由2012级毕业生创立。社团基于真正的公司项目，使成员能够真正参与到公司的项目中去，体验公司是如何优化其供应链的。WeatherheadWomen in Business也会定期举办活动，邀请一些校友，为社团成员提供了拓展人脉的机会。
