Just to be self-critical: My answer is obviously biased because I went through a S16. If you ask someone from a M7 their answer might be different as well. You will undoubtedly get answers shaped by people's individual experiences that might not be helpful for you.
A few questions that could help you move forward in your decision making process:
1. Can I significantly improve my profile in the next 3-6 months, leading to the start of the next admission cycle?
2. If I have a S16 offer, am I willing to take the risk of loosing it in order to pursue the chance of getting admitted to another school?
3. How will I explain to my recommenders my decision so they will support me again without hesitation?
Basically, you have to think very tactically if you want to pursue this route. Best of luck with your decision. |
