OG13的几道题目请教：

答案是E，但是E的第二个it指代的是介词短语of the compound insect eye介词短语中的the compound insect eye，of 这里肯定是介词了，这样是不是违反了代词不能指代介宾短语中的名词的原则？

答案是E，但是关于A,OG解释没认为which有问题，这里which不是修饰tourists吗？还是说这样也没有问题？，根据manhattan的名词修饰语的touch rule，这里which形式上应该指代的是tourists，意义上应该是moisture吧，这里也可以用插入mission-critical modifier？

1.复眼结构那道题it和前面its应该是指代对象一致。貌似这里it是指代“the intricate structure of the compound insect eye"这个意思，核心词应该是"structure" 这里its就是指这个“复眼结构的小眼睛”，而it是指“复眼结构”。所以木有问题啦，要小心核心词优先指代，就好比经常考”A of B, which“，which优先指代A，因为是核心词（如果which从句中主谓一致的话）

2. 问题不在which，因为tourists是在by的介词短语中，核心词是前面的moisture，只要which从句主谓一致就可以跳跃到moisture。touch rule是指限定性修饰的时候修饰紧贴的名词，而且就算如此也可以跳跃过前面的介词短语修饰核短语前的核心词。这里最大的问题是due to，due to前后必须都是因果关系中的核心词，不能是句子。所以复杂语义下，最好用because

代词的指代问题是相对性错误，做题的时候如果其他错误找不到在看代词的指代 而且既然og都说这是正确答案了就说明这种指代在gmat中是可以接受的 lz再做题时就不要纠结与代词不指代介宾短语这个问题了~

ls别这么激动啊 OG的SC答案以理解为主，你这分明是在让lz死记硬背下来

我认为7中 两个it指代都是 The intricate structure ，第一个it说明structure的特点，第二个说明在科学家看来它的价值。of the compound insect eye只是起后置修饰的作用。OG中一些观点也有他自己的正确答案没发prove的时候，这个还是要具体问题具体看，但是抓住语法的大方向吧

兩個it都指代the compound insect eye(複眼)比較合理吧？！
with獨立主格片語修飾逗點前面的複眼，其中its指代對象就是"複眼的"，
its都當"複眼的"了，後面再出現it，當然也要指代複眼。it指代對象才會一致。
或許就是因為有獨立主格插入的關係(裡面有it的使用)，it避免指代介賓名詞此規則，
因此開放出了一點例外。
原則上，代詞避免指代介賓，似乎也只是優先順序上的issue
以上若有錯誤再請指正了

第八題  which的修飾對象是可以跳過簡短的介賓短語的，這部分沒有問題，
所以which是修飾moisture
