其他的我都能明白
但是A的each had a written charter that set forth its form of ...难道set不应该是sets么？

还是有什么高深的语法点被我bypass了 。。。google了一圈都没看到有人质疑这个，看样子还是我弱爆了。。。

又查阅了一下 是说each这种形式的同位语 后面的谓语也是跟前面主句的主语 而不受each影响么？
直接冲上来就排除A的怎么得了。。。

这个和each没有关系吧，和each有关的是had
set的过去式和现在时相同

我会认为set forth的主语是charter那么难道不是sets forth么？

楼上的意思是，
set的过去式和过去分词就是set

这个colony 这个set的事件是发生在过去，所以就是set..

我是这么理解的
