married women wants back to their original work, but it's hard. whether to work is not a namely " choice" for women, it is the economic push women to that situation.  motherhood means a heavy finacial burden for american women.( insurance pay, childcare cost etc.).  careers are not pursued by choice,it is money.

As the society changes, as women also change their lifestyle after industrial revolution.  Some women work for help family that the family has two income to buy car, furniture and house, some work for self satisfaction.

-Does married occupational mother happier housewife mother? Which situation make women happier than the other? but this passage does not have answer about wether women are happy, if they spend less time on working.

according to the research more women prefer not to have full time job, they would sacrifice  their job rather than family. As a result, the happiest women are someone who can spend more time for family.

life is not just two choice and you need to find your possibilities. as a women with chirld, the giving up career for a period will destory their attempt to restart. the economy status push mothers out to work.
