Well first of all, if you don't like NY, maybe you should rethink your application options... you don't HAVE to go to NY. Schools in London is a nice alternative for example, maybe Singapore, or UNC (even though it is true that a lot of the finance jobs are in NY, so somehow it should make sense). You fantastic GMAT and what seems to be good experience, so I'd say top 30 are in range (although I guess top 10 will be a bit challenging). You just need to decide whether you want to apply to schools ina place you don't want really to stay, or to think about other options.

Besides, your "top 30" here is US ranking or global ranking?
