Hi Aileen, I pose my question here.
Hi, it is very nice of you to provide such helps on CD. I am curently working on my application and I dohave some questions regarding to the application form.
For the academic honors part. I suppose that ND asks for the academic merits. Then it says "organization name". What should I put in there? The organization that granted the honor for me? What if I received several honors from the same organization?

The same question for the community service part. Actually I have attended several programs but they are all provided by the same organization. Should I just put one there?

Maybe an example would be the best! Thank you soooo much!

( I sent you message before since I am a little bit embarrass of asking this.)

My profile:
G:740+5.5, T:pending ( can't waive = =), GPA 4.0
accounting major , BAP, BGS
2+2 program, 2 yr in a 211 in BJ, 2 yr here in WI (However, not a prestigious one)
W/E:  one summer audit in a big4 back in China, one offer for audit intern of a big4 in WI

Also looking for advice for my PS

Hi, I saw you already had an internship offer from big 4. Congrats!

Regarding your questions, I believe you should put the name of the organization where you got the academic honors. Put all of your honors in the application form. There is no harm doing this. Same answer to your question on the community part.

What type of questions you got for your PS writing? It looks like you achieved a lot at your undergrad. And thank you for posting your questions public and it will help others having the same questions.

About the PS, I learn from the previous answers that ND pays a lot attention in applicant's leardership. Well, in your cases, what kind of examples you have used in your application? I mean, I didn't acheive as a VP of a organization or something like that  in these two years here.  I think that is probably one of my biggest weakness. But I have attended a case analysis competition. Anyway, I appreciate your helps. ND is my dream school!!

Your leadership in the case competition is totally fine! Actually I didn't mention any of my leadership experience in my PS - just for reference. I don't want to be misleading. The only key is to present the best you in the PS and the interview. What's your strength and what you could bring to the MSA family.

恩，这两天在集中准备！谢谢楼主的热心回答！其实还是有些不自信的，因为觉得自己的background和ND的平均水平差太远了……ND能给我DVD面的机会已然很开心！

Agree with Frank. 补充些我的想法!

圣母 will look at your GMAT, TOEFL, GPA, and activities.  Other than activities (unknown), 你的背景已经够了. 面试时 committee will evaluate your communication skills and leadership ability.

For Notre Dame, GMAT 780 is not necessarily better than 710.

The committee will consider two things.
Will the applicant contribute to the profession/ND community?
Will the MSA education benefit this applicant?

Thank you for your suggestion! And I think I have to think more about what I can bring to ND. As for the second question, the MSA will definitely benefit me. And I find that the more I know about ND, the more I love her!
