小渣渣求各位CD大神靠谱儿定位！！！

要选校了，纠结的很，虽然找了中介，但是心里始终觉得要多听听不同的声音，尤其是CD上各位的~所以在此小女子坦白一切，求各位定位~~在此谢过！

首先，国内著名（也不是很著名=。=）211财经类院校（北京某所=。=），金融和西班牙语双学位。
GPA 3.5+（伤），GMAT 680（10.23刚刚一战完），T 89（掩面，11月底再战，不过先用89的申着，到时候再更新）（六级600+，但是不知道为什么对托福这么无力啊）。。。
国内某银行水实习一个、四大实习一个
志愿者经历丰富（曾经做过北京奥运会志愿者之类的。。）
还有就是有过在墨西哥的一个学期的交换生经历（因为还有个西班牙语学位嘛，不知道这个能不能被当做多元化的优势~）
有参与过老师的课题，也有科研立项（论文未发表。。）

背景比较弱。。。这个我也知道。。。但是奈何小女子我心比天高，不愿低就。。。但也不想因此就命比纸薄（=。=)。。。
目标申请专业：金融（最好是偏数理一点点的）
所以想请各位推荐一些冲刺院校、靠谱儿院校和保底院校，还有其他一些建议（比如GMAT是否要再战一定刷上700？？因为时间比较紧。。。）

Hi, my friend!Jon Frank here, happy to help. First of all, I’d highly recommend that you retake your GMAT and TOEFL, since your current scores are definitely less than competitive. Given your 3.5 GPA, you need higher test scores to prove that you’ve gotsolid academic ability. A 700+ on the GMAT and 100+ on the TOEFL would be ideal. In terms of school selection, I would suggest you look into schools with great locations, such as NYC or Boston. In terms of MSF programs, check out Fordham and BU. Schools with prime locations in major cities will give you more of an edge in the job search after graduation. Hope this helps!

Hi JonFrank! Thanks a lot for your useful advice! I think you are absolutely right. I'm preparing for the TOEFL test in the end of Nov. and I think this is my last chance, anyway, I'll try my best. Also, if possible, I'll take the Gmat test another time in about the end of December, but not register yet, after all, considering the limited time and the fact that some universities don't have a restriction for GMAT. As for school selection, I think I should put the rank of MSF program on the priority, the location is a very important factor as well, however, sometimes these two factors seem to be contradicted. At last, I have a doubt, what do you think that my agency consultant select The University of Delaware for me? I am unwilling to go there while my consultant thinks it is better for me to apply it just in case.

Hi there, and thanks for your follow-up!I’m happy to offer some further advice, my friend. Let me be completely honest with you: if you are not going to one of the best MSF programs (like MIT, Vanderbilt, or Rochester), then ranking really won’t make a difference in your later job search. Outside of the top ten programs, if you have to choose between location and ranking, I’d generally recommend choosing a program based on location. Especially for international students, getting local work experience through an internship is the most useful stepping stone towards landing a full-time job after graduation. These internships are most readily available in major cities, like NYC and Chicago. Also, if a particular city interests you most, then put programs in that area at the top of your list. If you most want to experience New York or Chicago or Los Angeles, go for it! There are tons of great schools in the States, especially in major cities, and you will find plenty of options for sure. Hope this helps!
