答案选A没有多大疑问,对于OG中对于DE的解释是less应该用fewer也没有疑问,但是如果在DE中将less改为fewer是不是就对了呢?

对于with和没有comma的ving修饰有点疑惑,不知道具体修饰对象是谁...
刚开始学习gmat语法...希望大家不要见笑

我觉得这个问题挺好。我也在准备杀G，我觉得OG有时候只解释一个主要的错点，有的点不去详细解释。我觉得DE即使改成fewer也不能选，因为D中with less limitations on water access是错误的表达，应该是to water access，你去查英英字典就会有limitation的解释，limitation to：the act or process of controlling or reducing sth，而limitation on: a rule or condition that stops sth from increasing beyond a particular point,所以根据句子的意思要用limitation to。其次water access 应该改为 access to water，这样比较符合GMAT的规则，不知道这样解释对不对

我觉得limitations on在这里没问题吧，可以理解成对water access的一些限定性规则等，不过换成fewer我觉得还是不对，主要问题应该是with 短语有歧义，可以修饰前面的clans也可以修饰前面整句话，不知道这算不算个点

我查阅了关于with和having作为名词修饰语的用法
with：当with前面没有逗号时，with短语修饰的是the closest noun.

having的话在曼哈顿第四章modifier里面说了，无逗号直接跟在名词后面的ving就是该名词的名词修饰语，所以CD两个选项关于with和having应该是没有错的。
至于limitation to &limitation on的说法，我还是支持三楼wsad445的说法的。
