The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeded what it did for the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture我对A选项的it代替economy存在疑问，因为这是比较级，都用that比较同一属性的事物。而且我认为1990-2000年的经济和10，000年以前-1950年的经济是不同的两个事物，不能用it指代。it指代前面出现的，而前面出现的是1990-2000的经济，与10000年的经济是不一样的，怎么能这样用？

这个是正确的改错答案，我想问的是后面为什么用that指代三个国家的unemployment rate而不是用those，那就会让人错误的联想到前面三个国家的economy也可以用单数代替。

1 是同一事物就好比说 一个小孩子8-10岁长得超过前面8年
2 三国可以算出一个rate但是不能share economy

第二个我不太认同你的观点，首先前面是Dutch economy和后面三个国家的economies做比较，后面紧接着一个and结构，and要形式和逻辑都要并列。前面是dutch和三个比较，后面的失业率就不会和三个的综合rate比较。这样觉得逻辑不对呢，你觉得呢

remain是linking verb 前后要单复数一致的

另外 and前后并列没有到宾语单复数也需要一致的地步吧

我解释一下为什么不能用those吧。这是一个基本的规则，如果比较的对象前面是economy，那么后面比较的是复数的economy必须补出原型economies而不是those；但如果前面的Dutch economy用的是Dutch economies，后面就可以用those了。
这样是为什么，后面的要用that而不用those的原因，如果是用复数的话，必须改成the unemployment rates，因为前面是单数的unemployment rate。

我有个boldface题要问你，出自GWD CR大全：

答案选D，我做这个题就是在C和D中纠结，不知道怎么排除C。

这个果断是选D啊，首先，前面的Background information都不理睬，从Several scholars have argued that since the book includes a presentation of Newton’s calculus concepts and techniques这一句话开始分析：后面黑体1是在and since，说明黑1是一个premise用来证明一个结论的，他们支持的结论是：it is virtually certain that the traditional view is false.  
但是后面紧接着就说：a more cautious conclusion than this one is called for，说明前面的这个conclusion并不cautious，然后黑体是however。。。。。，后面就是来说明为啥a more cautious conclusion is called for的原因。 说明作者，即historian支持的观点是和several scholars的观点相反的。
然后答案C，support of an intermediate conclusion that is drawn to provide support for the overall position that the historian defends肯定是错误的啊，historian和scholar的观点相反，怎么可能是用来支持historian defends的观点呢？
于是接下来就不用看了，选D

哦，恍然大悟，谢谢啦
