TPO21 综合写作
In the lecture, the professor is skeptical about the idea of the reading passage that planting genetically modified trees will lead to scads of benefit. He argues that this statement is not convincing when compared to what happened in reality.
To begin with, the lecturer points out that genetically modified trees only resist to a certain circumstance by citing that under detrimental conditions these changed trees may all wipe out due to the uniformity of genes while a few nature trees can survive. This disagrees with the standpoint demonstrated in the writing that genetically modified trees are stronger than the nature ones.
In addition, the professor goes on to maintain that planting those "advantaged" trees will not ensure considerable profits for the companies who offer the seeds of genetically modified trees will charge higher than the common seeds. What's more, farmers can't collect seeds for next tilling, thus it will be a huge expense. This directly casts doubt on what the passage indicates.
Finally, the speaker also opposes the writer's viewpoint by emphasizing that genetically modified trees are even more deleterious to local wild trees.Because of more productive genes, the modified trees grow aggressively and compete with the local wild trees for resources. This fact reveals that planting genetically trees cannot definetely keep the wild trees from exploiting too much but do harm to them.

In the lecture, the professor is skeptical about the idea of the reading passage that ethanol is not a beneficial substitute for gasoline. He argues that this statement is not convincing when compared to what happened in reality.

To begin with, the lecturer points out that using ethanol will not aid the global warming even though buring ethanol for fuel does release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. He explains this perspective further tha the ethanol is made from plants and plants absorb carbon dioxide for nutrition,so photosynthesis will counterbalance the emission. This disagrees with the standpoint demonstrated in the writing that ethanol is as harmful as gasoline to the environment.

In addition, the professor goes on to maintain that the production of scads of ethanol will not influence the amount of animals'food.According to the talk, animals which feed on the plants that produced the ethanol don't eat a certain substance and this substance is very the raw material used for produce ethanol. In other words, the production of ethanol does not reduce the food eaten by animals severly like the passage indicates.

Finally, the speaker also opposes to the writer's viewpoint by emphasizing that the price of ethanol fuel won't hike as the article suggests.Admittedly, the aid of tax subsidies to ethanol producer by government at present is true, but the government won't support forever.Besides,as everybody knows that if one thing is needed more, the price of this product will always drop. What's more, the price of ethanol will drop by 40% when the production can be three times more than now according to a study.

(遗漏信息,listening中还说了,那些nature tree是怎样的。我觉得在本段中也要表述,是听力中的重要信息。Those nature trees are diverse. Even most of them are died because of a pest, the few survived nature trees can still ensure this specie of nature tree. )
In addition, the professor goes on to maintain that planting those "advantaged" trees will not ensure considerable profits for the companies who offer the seeds of genetically modified trees will charge higher than the common seeds. What's more, farmers can't collect seeds for next tilling, thus it will be a huge expense. ( According to the law, farmers have to pay the company everytime when they plant a new tree, even with the seeds collected by the farmers.) This directly casts doubt on what the passage indicates.
Finally, the speaker also opposes the writer's viewpoint by emphasizing that genetically modified trees are even more deleterious to local wild trees.Because of more productive genes, the modified trees grow aggressively and compete with the local wild trees for resources. This fact reveals that planting genetically trees cannot definetely (definitely) keep the wild trees from exploiting too much but do harm to them.
