虽然没有把全部贴都看完,但我想~这个问题确实需要好好考虑一下,considering what you wanna do tomorrow and How to realize anyways,根据自身条件具体情况具体分析,应该是这样吧!!

Here is my take:

If in the long run you’d like to settle and live in the US, the apply to US schools and take whatever offer you can get.

If you believe that in the long run your future is in China, then:

- if you can get into top tier (top 10 or 15) schools, take the offer and come.  Worry about the money later.

- if you get offers from second tier (15-30) schools with good money (scholarship >= half tuition), also take it.

- if you get offers from second tier schools with no or little money, carefully consider whether you should go to the best Chinese schools like 中欧,光华 or 清华 instead.

- be really skeptical whether you should prefer third tier US schools to the best Chinese schools

-What if you cannot get any offer in US although you tried very hard.  You only have two choices-Illegally stay there or come back to China.

delphine18, i am working in Big Four as your cusin did. Here i wanna some more detail information about your cusin`s applying to US. Cause i graduated from an average university in China as an software engineer degree, i am worried about my background and GAP. If i got high score in GMAT (740)and TOEFL(630), combined my working experience, do you think that i still have chance to apply Wharton or the other top20 business school? your reply will be greatly appreciated!
