第一题：C选项中是主系表结构，这种情况下主语比较省略be不会造成歧义。如果是介宾比较的话James前面应该加of避免歧义。 A中先出现In his work，紧接着出现人名是正确的结构。

第二题：that修饰green fields。跳跃修饰是在逻辑含义不符时不得不修饰整个名词词组，如果that前面紧邻的名词在含义、数都能make sense的话，that优先修饰紧邻的名词

第三题：continue有“继续”的意思，再强调“他们以前也是这样的”造成语义重复。

who只能做主语，没有many of who这种结构，应该用many of whom或them。
