请问这里B的 grown from。。。。  不会有夹心修饰的歧义么？
查了查资料，不是夹心修饰的原因可能是    词不存在夹心修饰，肯定修饰前面的主语   
但还是不确定

我记得PREP上有一道题目是，S,carrying as many as seven people, compared with other vehicles, cost less...(大致是这样的啊~记得不是特别清楚了)。ron当时有一个我觉得非常经典的解释，这里把carrying和compared with两个modifier连续放在主语S后是没有错的，错的是它这样的结构表达的语义是：只有在S载了7个人之后，后面“compared with other vehicles, cost less...”等特点才成立，一旦它没有载到7个人，后面的特点会突然不成立。
这个解释的意思就是，S,VING,VO中ving是修饰主语的noun modifier，但同时它和后面的V有着一定的语义联系，所以也并不是单纯的noun modifier~ V只有在ving 成立的基础上才成立~
