OG13-SC34 whether, whether or not and if的区别？？？

请问哪位童鞋知道这三个whether, whether or not and if的区别吗？很搞脑子啊！！！

Beyond the immediate cash flow crisis that the museum faces, its survival depends on if it can broaden its membership and leave its cramped quaters for a site where it can store and exhibit its more than 12,000 articrafts.

if 表达如果的意思，他没有是否的意思，所以并不等于whether
whether or not 是一个累赘表达，因为whether本来就已经表达了“是”“否”了~~

谢谢您的回复！我又查了一下字典，发现whether的主要用法有3种，总结如下。

1单独使用（如本题）
例句：He asked me whether I wanted to play golf this afternoon.

2 whether A or B
例句：I'm sure we will see each other again soon, whether here or in New York.

3 whether or not
例句：Whether you like it or not,I'm taking you to the doctor.

所以我认为whether or not并不是赘述，而是强调，所以（C）的主要错误是has the capability of比较赘述（比起can）

嗯C排除很明显~
但是C的 whether or not的位置也不对~强调的话 or not也应该放在最后~

Not really. 请看例句：

I can't tell whether or not the teacher likes me. (quoted from Longman Advanced)

也就是whether A or not与 whether or not A是可以替换的，尤其当A是较长的句子时，这样的后置可以让句子没有头重脚轻的感觉，老外好像经常喜欢用这种后置法。

Laurie你好！关于我们上次的讨论我又有了新的想法。你上次说"if 表达如果的意思，他没有是否的意思，所以并不等于whether",现在我不同意这个说法了。
首先，if有是否的意思：(from Longman Advanced)
IF used to mean "whether" when you are asking or deciding whether something is true or will happen.
- Do you know if we have to work on Christmas Eve?
- I wonder if Matt's home yet.

其次，OG13-78题中没有把whether和if作为split,如果if没有是否的意思，首先排除(D)(E),但是这道题不是这样的，因为if可以表示是否，所以此题的考点在其他地方。

A proposal has been made to trim the horns from rhinoceroses to discourage poachers; the question is whether tourists will continue to visit game parks and see rihnoceroses after their horns are trimmed.
(A) whether tourists will continue to visit game parks and see rihnoceroses after their horns are                                                         
(B) whether tourists will continue to visit game parks to see one once their horns are                                                                                       
(C) whether tourists will continue to visit game parks to see rihnoceroses once the animals' horns have been                                    
(D) if tourists will continue to visit game parks and see rihnoceroses once the animals' horns are

Good point! I mean IF REQUIRES A CONSEQUENCE! 但是OG对这道题的解释从头到尾没提过if和whether的事，也就是说if和whether在这道题的语义中并没有差异（如果语义有差异，比如whether表示是否，if表示如果）那应该是严重错误，OG不可能不说啊。

嗯对~之前确实考虑不周~
但多少还是觉得这里IF不适用是否的意义~
