Hey there dude,
You have a veeeery interesting profile and very good questions. Let's start with your specific questions:
1,most university in north America will usually classify the poll by the nationality, even though I got the
Permanent residence in EU, am I still in the pool to compete with other domestic applicants?
Unfortunately yes, you will be classified according to your country of origin. BUT your international experience will count for a LOT! So make sure you write about it a lot in your application.
2,how do I present the reason of not going on my doctor study in a more wise and reasonable way?
Tell the truth. You tried a new program, and you found out that you love real business more than academics… It's a solid story.
3, would the chance be a little bit slim for a 32-years old applicant ?
In Europe actually, this is pretty average… for the US it's a bit old, so a bit difficult…. but still possible.
I think overall your profile is very good. You have a great GMAT, excellent international experience in a good industry, very diverse language skills… so things look pretty good actually. I think you can target INSEAD, LBS, Oxford and Cambridge. HEC is a good one too, and IMD as well (I hear Switzerland has lots of banks! Plus your German skills will be appreciated).
In the US, I'd suggest looking into: Booth, NYU, Columbia, Wharton, and Johnson, as they are all fantastic finance schools.
Hope this helps!!!
