不管别的语法错误，A和B中的only一前一后，翻译的意思有不一样么，我咋感觉一样的，A中是Diabetes 只被heart disease and cancer超过；B中是heart disease and cancer只超过Diabetes？？？

1.求大神来翻译一下，这两题我翻译得对吗？
2.这样的修饰语轻微的变化，改变了句意，在实战中没时间很快想清楚吧！！

adverbial modifier位置的问题一直都很tricky。第一个句子我感觉only的位置不影响句子意思，两句都表明Diabetes仅仅排在 heart disease and cancer之后；
第二句我感觉manhattan的解释没错啊。were first aired on evening radio 说明肥皂剧第一次演出是在radio上而不是在其他地方；were aired first on evening radio 表示radio上第一次演出的是肥皂剧而不是其他的节目。

是不是first后面跟着谁，就是修饰谁

manhattan给的解释是adverbial modifier修饰就近的动词，从语法上来说的应该是这样。不过我感觉还是得根据具体的句子推敲其中不同的句意。
