答案选A，为什么啊？可否请分析一下这道题啊？先谢啦！！！！！！！！！

是A错了。句子缺少谓语，改成designed

句子的主题是Paul Revere designed the metal plates

后面跟了一个on which的从句，从句的谓语是was printed
