看了这个帖子以后

我又想了好久，主要纠结于that的位置，也就是B为啥不对，贴出自己的分析，求教！

这道题应该是定语从句和宾语从句的嵌入

正确的句子：
The World Wildlife Fund has declared that global warming, a phenomenon that most scientists agree is caused by human being’s burning of fossil fuels, will create havoc among migratory birds by altering the environment in ways harmful to their habitats.
分析：

*global warming, a phenomenon that is caused by human being’s burning of fossil fuels.         A phenomenon是global warming的同位语，  that is...又是 a phenomenon这个单词的定语从句,     that指代a phenomenon

*most scientists agree( that) that 【that在定语从句中指代 a phenomenon】 is caused by human being’s burning of fossil fuels.     宾语从句中的that在原句中已省略

*that为啥要紧跟 a phenomenon，因为that要紧跟他指代的对象

只能是C，如果是B，那么that is caused by fossil fuels burned by human beings势必成了宾语从句，来说明agree 的内容，那样a phenomenon就等同于most scientists agree that, 翻译过来就是（多数科学家都赞同人类的行为造成全球变暖）是一种现象。这样的话，就等于说变暖这种现象是科学家的同意某种说法。严重不符合事实。

LZ分析的还头头是道，先顶一下。其实，most scientists agree不作成分，看作插入语是没错的，无论怎么去分析它，它都不影响句子主要结构。

谢谢你的回复哈，我就是不知道that的位置，如果是most scientists agree 是插入语，他可不可以插在that is 之前（B选项，错误选项）而不是that is中间（C选项，正确选项）。贴下题：

120. The World Wildlife Fund has declared that global warming, a phenomenon most scientists agree to be caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels, will create havoc among migratory birds by altering the environment in ways harmful to their habitats.
 
(B) a phenomenon( most scientists agree )that is caused by fossil fuels burned by human beings,


(C) a phenomenon that (most scientists agree )is caused by human beings’ burning of fossil fuels,

我比较纠结这道题。。为什么A就awkward和indirect了。。因为我个人觉得agree to be caused要比agree is caused顺口很多

因为most scientists agree根本就不能做成分，所以不能是agree to be，这样句子意思就完全不对了。

啊？不能做成分？a phenomenon that most scientists agree to be caused by...有问题吗？我不是很明白你的意思。。而且我觉得如果说它有成分上的语法问题那么OG应该会点出来吧？

请把句子多读几遍，体会一下句子的意思，再看选项的合理性。

嗯有道理。
我在总结一下。。。
如果that放在agree之后，就容易造成这样的假象，that是agree宾语从句的引导词，至于他歧义以后是啥意思就别管了。
