不太理解, D为什么不对呢? 觉得E两个基本点speeds重复.

I think your Choice E, the 2nd "speed" is redundant.

1. at speeds, not with speeds, eliminate choice A, B

2. at higher speeds THAN, not AS, elinimate C

3. the reference of "that" is unclear. If it refers to "speeds", it should be "those". eliminate D.

4. E is the best if you change it to "at speeds much higher than are".
