我想问一下og上说 D的did， unnecessary  是不是只有主谓比较的时候就可以省略do，did 主谓宾的时候才不能省略？ GMAT中 I eat faster than you do。 这样错误吗？ 谢谢！

D的did不是该不该省略的问题，是在这个结构中根本不该出现。因为前文没有与之对应的动词。

I eat faster than you.
I eat faster than you do.
Both are OK.
