less than 35 years after……在句中起的作用是什么，是状语吗，但又不是介词短语啊

这里的Less than 35 years after其实就是说非洲蜂蜜发布后不到35年。是说明时间的，但其实你语法题只要知道大致意思就可以了，不必拘泥细节，比如这题你就可以把Less than 35 years after简化成after

less than 35 years是用来修饰after....这个介词短语吗，我总觉得after前面有其他词很奇怪，我选择C，答案是A，我对GMAT考察的思维方式一直没习惯，请各位大牛指正！

多谢您！我找到一位和我有同样问题的同学！Why the option A uses "Less than 35 years after..." rather than "In less than 35 years after..." ?

我理解加in也可以，但B的问题是since要接句子。个人理解，不是很确定，等NN解释
