1： 最好不要提口语烂是自己的shortcoming.应该为自己能说英语感到骄傲，这可是偶们的第二第三语言呀。君不见：老印的英语发音烂得一塌涂地，但人家就是敢说、就是为自己的英语感到骄傲，这不，美国被这种自信精神感动得一塌涂地。所以不能在ad. co. 面前吐露半点怯生，BS非常看重"confidence"的！

2：谈到缺点的时候，最好不要直接说自己有哪些缺点。用一种巧妙的方式把你的缺点transfer成优点，不过不能太露骨。要有“偶没有缺点”的想法，或“我的缺点不是缺点，其实是优点”的自我暗示心理

3：同意“感谢信就是感谢信，不用涉及其他”，除非你在interview里犯了致命的错误非解释不可，否则还是遵循美国人写感谢信的原则

4：mock interview非常重要！！有条件的话，可以请MBA在校生帮助mock几次，最起码一次！绝对受益非浅

1. use a tape recorder and listen to your own responses.

2. don't ever say that your oral English is not good.  Communication is the key to success in b-school. Why gives them a reason to ding you? If you're interviewing with an American, say an admission offier, he/she understands that you are not a native speaker and will definitely cut your some slacks. If you're intervewing w/ a Chinese alum, well, it's your fellow country men. They have been through the same thing as you did.

3. speak slowly. Make sure your pronounce words clearly. You will have an accent. But that's OK. After you come to the US, you'll find out that everyone has an accent, even Americans

I talked with some guys in HR (in Canada) about shortcoming. They suggest that I cannot avoid this, but say something that everyone would regard it as shortcoming. Otherwise, they will think you do not know yourself well.
