07版本prep语法第36题请教

此题主语复数，可直接排除A，C。D过去完成时太恶心，而且后面那个it没指代。我想请问各位大大，E为何不行，笔记中说该题as...as为句子之间比较，故E错，但怎么看出是句子句子比较呢，前一个as不是在disturbing之间的吗，disturbing和与compelling比较，那么E也对了咯，此题绞尽脑汁学不明白。

单从语法来看，描述的是过去的事情，verb tense是过去时，而且也没有明显的完成时的标志，最好不要用完成时。关于as as用法，分享一个好帖http://forum.chasedream.com/thread-487950-1-1.html

谢谢，我读下这帖子吧，发现as as用法挺难处理的说.那个帖子写的都是短词的as as 用法，这种连接两个句子的并列帖子中木有写到，，，
另外那个prep07语法笔记感觉有些地方写的不大靠谱，可以全相信笔记么

in one's own time是错误的固定搭配吗

LZ,作者比较的同时还要表达一个时间的不一样，句子意思是homas Eakins's powerful style and his choices of subject曾经是disturbing to his own time，而同样的现在正在compelling for ours，能表达这种时间上的不一样的只有B选项，E选项没有表达不同时间，所以不对。

所以说B项里的were与现在的are形成一个时态上的对比，所以我们认为B里更准确是吧。那个谈毅的prep笔记里写“(E)        现在完成时错误;        该比较结构是句子跟句子进行比较, as compelling for ours不是句子,        因此比较的对象概念不对等”。实际上我是被这个笔记搞糊涂了，您能帮我看下谈毅这个解释靠谱吗。我发现这笔记有几个地方不大给力

前面一句话和后面一句话比较  Owning a house is a goal of many young people as it was of earlier generations.   楼上说的对，这里面关键是要体现出前后时态不一致，一个是过去的影响一个是现在的，如果你后面像E一样就默认了时态和前面是一致的

恩，所以说是时态错误，并非笔记里说的应该跟句子不该跟词对比对吧。因为A does as good as B/ B does/does B貌似都可
