equations have reduced sickness, sleeping, and fatigue while raising production efficiency.
这里while raising我的理解是一个adverbial modifier, modifying the Subject and the whole main clause.
但不是一个从句，从句是clause。这里只是一个分词结构，前面加代表逻辑上含义的while, an adverb if you have to specify it.

另外我个人不建议prep语法笔记这种零散的、针对某些单一语法点的刻板总结。这些复杂的条条框框你放到考场上如何运用起来？
