根据我个人经验， 楼主应该果断中金

理由：
1） 楼主毕业时木有拿绿卡的可能（比如通过投资移民， 亲属移民）， 那么楼主毕业在美国找到工作的机会那是非常低。 就算是哥大毕业的也一样， 因为你是哥大的商科， 不是理工科的PHD。 绝大部分中国人还是回到了亚洲。

2）楼主貌似是应届毕业， 没什么全职工作经验。 就算是哥大金数毕业， 也未必能再次进到中金IBD。
3）既然是要在国内发展， 一年中金全职经验的价值要远远大于哥大金数的学习。 没有全职工作经验， 一个人很难知道自己到底要什么， 适合什么， 都是凭借自己的想象。建议楼主工作两年后再考虑是继续工作向上爬， 还是出国读MFE或者MBA， 保证你到时候完全不会像现在这么纠结。

ibd is quite different from the so called quant finance. Do you have preference? everyone seems to ignore this problem... it's your personality , interests and luck finally drive you to your destination. you are living for yourself, not others. so don't be overwhelmed by the titles, such as M7, BB, etc...

I am not familiar with the program in Columbia. But I do think there is still chance for u to go to Wall Street. But it will still depend heavily on your efforts and luck in the following year. it is also not that difficult to find a job(merely a job) in the us if you really want to....
however, I believe the ibd job will help you grow up much more quickly. M7 is not that difficult if you do the job well. But is it really that honorable? After M7, then what? And maybe several months after working, your future plan totally changes....

Both choices are good. It only about your expectations of your own life. The final results depends much more heavily on what you do and how you do after making this decision.

不明白lz学数学为么还找了ib的工作。不看好中金，近几年在走下坡路无疑。
当然我个人很想去北美工作所以可能些bias。

像樓主這個問題, 根本不是先工作vs先讀書, 而是quant vs ibd........

這類問題, 根本是在問人生目標和自己性格. 沒人比自己清楚, 上forum問是多餘的.
