WRONG:             
Leaves fall TWICE AS quickly AS their rate o f growth.       错，是不是因为第二个as后面必须是从句？改成twice their rate 可以么？                           
Naomi wrote DOUBLE THE LETTERS THAT Sara did.         和前面的正确句子比，错在哪里？                           
Naomts income INCREASED BY TWICE in three years.       错是因为语义重复么？还是别的？

多说无益，只希望牢记：比较结构中，作比较的部分要相适应（如不可动词与名词，或人与物品之间作比较）。另外，LZ要注意词性的正确性。

Naomi wrote DOUBLE THE LETTERS THAT Sara did.         和前面的正确句子比，错在哪里？                           
Naomts income INCREASED BY TWICE in three years.       错是因为语义重复么？还是别的？

记住，twice是副词！
1. as前后在比较两个动作，但现在后面是个名词。一定要用twice their rate, 应该改成Leaves fall at a rate TWICE AS high AS the rate of growth。
2. that用法错误。that指代the letters，这些letters特指Naomi写的那些，后面宾语从句又表示这些信是sara写的，显然意思矛盾。
3. 在这里不管用by twice还是twice都有“两次”的歧义，除非能够用上twice the income of...的结构否则排除不了歧义。

Naomi wrote the letters that Sara wrote. 这句话逻辑上有什么问题？如果不是很敏感的话看下一句：
Naomi ate the cakes that Sara ate. 是不是觉得这逻辑根本不对。一个对象有两个施加动作的人？一块蛋糕被吃了两次？
