C的错误在于，Quasars是主语，at billions...in the universe是当做插入语来修饰主语的，可以省略不看。所以这个句子需要谓语，由于后面正好是the cores(复数)，所以谓语为are，C选项在主语和谓语之间加入了另一个主语some，导致错误！

大意如下：
C这个句子（ some believe them to be）不能为句首的Quasars提供一个谓语动词（因为C自带了一个主语some）；
而且呢，因为C自己又个宾语 them，Quasars也不能作为句子的宾语，那这个Quasars就成了多出来的成分。

第二种情况是宾语前置，例句：The little time we have together we try to spend wisely

非常感谢 之前不明白的原因是没有考虑到有宾语前置的可能，所以不明白为什么答案要把Q考虑成宾语而否定它

亲 你觉得C选项中的them有没有指代问题？是不是有指代some或主语Q的嫌疑？

好像没有呢。

因为指代some的话应该是 some believe themselves 吧？

啊一说指代问题给我说晕了，那没有指代问题的话，them是只指代Q吗？
