亲，我又有了一点感悟，能不能帮我看下这么理解对不对：

confidence是一个抽象名词，同位语从句能最清晰地表达出confidence的内容及其逻辑关系，而BCD项都是confidence in n. +各种修饰语，无法清晰地表达逻辑含义。（就像GMAT最爱考的 theory that the universe began .. years ago 和 theory of the universe beginning ...，前者永远比后者好。）

所以这题其实不用太纠结BCD项的to come到底和谁并列，因为本来这三项的逻辑意思就是错的，再怎么并列也还是错的

我没有看到过谁说过confidence+that,就一定比confidence+in 要好。
My mom has confidence in me.这句话你要是用that的话，反而多余。
最主要还是看confidence后面究竟是什么内容！

我指的是。。that引导同位语从句，解释说明confidence的内容，不是说对某人的confidence..  confidence in me，me本来也不是confidence的内容，是对象“对我的信心”

我要比较的是这两种结构：
My mom has confidence that I can perform well on GMAT.
My mom has confidence in my performing well on GMAT.

whatever..我已经明白了= =

请问，第一句为什么用了had feared这种过去完成时，这个题没有过去时的标志，为什么还用过去完成时表过去的过去。

我也觉得OG这里说的must加that是不准确的 应该是可以省略的
