Although Napoleon's army entered Russia with far more supplies than they had in their previous campaigns, it had provisions for only twenty-four days.
(A) they had in their previous campaigns
(B) their previous campaigns had had
(C) they had for any previous campaign
(D) in their previous campaigns
(E)  for any previous campaign

Although Napoleon's army entered Russia with far more supplies than were taken with them for any previous campaign
我们对比另句话;
Those small domestic mills will take morebusiness from the big American steel mills than would have been taken by the foreign steel mills in the absense ofquotas

关于选项A;  我们不管有无其它错误它补全以后的形式应该是;
Although Napoleon's army entered Russia with far more supplies than they had (enteried russia with)  in any  previous compaign

According to public health officials, in 1998 Massachusetts became the first state in which more babies were born to women over the age of thirty thanunder it.
A. than 正确
B. than born
C. than they were
D. than there had been
E. than had been born

这里A选项补全以后应该是; in which more babies were born to women over the age of thirty than were born to women under thirty.

(C) older than was the city known to Homer’s heroes
(D) more ancient of a city than Homer’s heroes knew

Last year (2010) the specialized services ridership was 150,000 as compared to 2006 when it was 112,000.
in 1910不能 compared to 2000
in 1910 this group made up 35 percent of the population as compared to 2000, when it was 20 percent
